Dr. Jeffrey Poage graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and first did a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He then followed his passion to become a Pediatric Anesthesiologist by completing his residency in Anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at Boston Children’s Hospital, fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia at New England Deaconess Hospital, all affiliated with Harvard University. Dr. Poage is board certified in Anesthesiology, Pediatric Anesthesiology, General Pediatrics, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, and echocardiography. He has been in practice for over 30 years and has held many department chairman positions, served on several hospital and healthcare boards, has lectured extensively about general topics in pediatric anesthesia and pediatric anesthesia in dental offices. As a former president of the California Society of Anesthesiologists he is still very active politically and has been involved with the state legislature to develop safety protocols for office anesthesia and dental office anesthesia. Dr. Poage continues to see patients both in dental offices and in medical facilities. He has two teenagers.
