Dr. Josemine Carey holds board certifications in both Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology. After earning her B.A. in both Integrative Biology and Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, and M.D. at the University of California, San Francisco, she completed anesthesiology residency and pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at UCSF. She has worked with patients of all ages on staff at UCSF, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, and Valley Children’s Hospital. Within anesthesiology, she has special interests in regional anesthesia and pre-operative preparation. Outside of medicine she enjoys spending time with her husband and children and at church; dancing, singing, and baking.
